This is all it takes.

This is all it takes to put the fonz car back on the road. A pipe and some jubilee clips. This is what was made to replace the power stearing shaped aluminium tube that held the power stearing fliud on the way to the pump. When that went caput the steering goes. The Fonz car also dumped all of the power steering fluid all over the path and road as Lee brought the Fonz car around to this side of the garden to try and fix him.
Lee found a local company that manufacture pipes . mostly industrial pipes for this and that. Lee phoned them and asked if they could make him this pipe up with special ends to fit it onto the car.
This they did and delivered it Free.
This all happened at about lunch time today. So by early afternoon we were out and about and driving Monza dog for his walk.
Such a relief to be back on the road again and we can plan a day out for the next day.

Two days off the road. Two doggy walks that Monza did not get....actually it was one...as he got today's walk late....
Whilst Lee fitted the new pipe I brushed up all the mess from the leeks of fluid and saw dust.....watered the garden then off we went in the working Fonz car.

I have not been out in the morning to take photos for a few days now, so I went out at Sunset today.
I headed straight to the tarn and these are the results.
Very quiet and not a lot of people. Only a couple of swans and some ducks as the light faded.

The end of the day and we have fixed the Fonz car. The mess from all of his leeks has been cleared up . The Fonz is now parked at the back in his usual place ready for the mornings adventures with Monza.

We have not  really been any where for the last two weeks. I have in mind either Lotherton hall or Temple Newsam as an outing for tomorrow........
