Lee wanted to pick up a telly in Harrogate. The pick up was just by the big supermarket....so we walked Monza and then took him back home. There was no way he was fitting in the car with this telly.
I still had my Mad hatter doll in the basket.....so we set off around Harrogate for a look....
We Parked up at Asda. Lee ran in to buy something to get change to park. this would have not even been worth mentioning except for the small fact that we (both) forgot to pay for a parking ticket.
We remembered after about an hours worth of charity shops and a church visit...and quickly headed back to the Fonz car.Sure enough there was a parking ticket for £70.00. Yes you did read that right and no it is not a typo. Seventy bloody pounds because we forgot a £1.00 parking ticket....and you can claim that back at the till on the way out!!!
Any way we had remembered too late by the time we were at this church of St John's .
This is a very beautiful church with fabulous stained glass windows....
Did we find anything in the charity shops? well not a lot. Just one small Olaf from Frozen doll.
We discovered the parking fine and then went to buy lunch. It really took the shine off the day.
Seventy pounds is a shed load of money to us. It is more than a whole weeks food money......And that includes Monza dog and Beer and cigarettes for Lee.
Oh yes I am really poxed about it.
