I was in time for the sun rise. About 4.30 this morning. Back on my old tricks on a Monday morning.
We went to bed so early last night the sun had not even gone down. I worked all day. I discovered that I was probably in the best place for me. A hot day. Everyone else was sat out in the roasting heat...and turning orange.
I was asked to stay an extra hour and a half this Monday. I don't especially want to but.....it is just about enough money to buy some 99p dolls in a charity /junk shop.
I pointed out to the supervisor that it is just over two years since my last surgery and when I started I could hardly stand for long periods. In fact some days I could not stand at all and my scars all still hurt when I was tired...which was most of the time. As all over time has been cut I have been home more. I told him I have a lovely garden and that we get to go out a lot. I also told him that You never know when Cancer will return or even if it will. Though it usually does it is the nature of it....
I can not be there worrying about hours and money. It is my second chance at life for a while......
I concluded by stating "buy as many Barbies as I can and collect loads of 1960's dolls from my childhood. Leave a right mess for some poor bugger to sort out when I die. So worrying about Hours money and stalkers from this employment is not an option.
around the Tarn I went as the sun came up. There was one very irritating woman who was cycling around the Tarn. I had to step off the path three times to avoid being run down. It very clearly states NO CYCLING. That is why love. I think that she thought I was annoying as well because I was in the path walking .......
After three circuits she disappeared. so that was just me left and the swan family and the birds singing.
The swan family....
a few ducks getting breakfast
The three Gemimas chattering as ever
I then trotted home and made some tea and let myself out of the front door to water the garden. I gave it a bit of a trim too......neighbours are on holiday, So no van and car parked either.
Still very early. So more tea and a blueberry muffin. ...There were no chocolate eclairs other wise that would have been breakfast too.
So Dawn on a Monday morning in June 2018. I have begun the week in a calm beautiful way.
I do not have any other extra hours at "work" other than staying on a bit later today...So goody goody out and about we can be this week.
Harrogate I think this week.....And really we should get out the drone.
I bought Lee a drone for Christmas and it has not had an outing yet.........
