A Monday in June.

I did not go out early this day. I did intend to start the week with a magnificent sun rise and tell the world to sod off. However the world and the weather did not comply. The sky was interestingly pink with fish scale sky then otherwise uninteresting as it faded from dawn to what would have been sun rise if it could be seen for clouds. So I did not bother. I drank tea and ate a banana. contemplated the photo frames I bought from Kirkstall tip shop and sorted some possible pictures to go in them. I have a box of old stuff from Bath Cornwall and weddings etc....mostly dust as well....I picked a few old cards out too....How many photos of my ex husband? I thought I sent them back to him. In fact I did send a lot!
Here is a photo from yesterday. It all looked much the same as this but with more pink. No I am not going to use all the ex husband photos. Imagine the effect that would have. Firstly it will make him think I miss him...And this is just a retrospect view....we made a really odd couple just for the record. one photo stands out a mile......him with long hair in a plat...round glasses on one of those glasses string things that hangs around your neck things.....and me with henna bright orange hair in a bob. oh deary deary me. we were always heading to divorce really. I remember the photo being taken. We were just going to church in Cornwall for a family wedding. bloody awful wedding.......we all went to that one on a coach.......yes you are reading that right. it is not a typo. the whole family went to that wedding on a series of coaches. We were all picked up from homes...like a pensioners outing....and all stopped off at the pub on the way to church for a swifty gin and tonic then the call went out " all back aboard!"...The photo was taken on the way into church.......then wedding.......hymns...prayers.....back on the coach....we were not needed for the photo call....then to a holiday camp complete with chalets ( some guests had booked these chalets....they were not risking the coach trip.....)for the reception........It was about 12 noon by then. The reception went on all day...all night and the coach driver got ratted as ten dogs and we were all stuck in the coach until he sobered up. if I remember correctly he did not sober up.  I remember one of the surfer cousins with his eye balls around the back of this head......completely "off his face" having partaken of a few lines of coke through a ten pound note......this was mainly why the chalets were booked.!!!  Who's wedding was it? the groom was a surfer I remember that part and the bride was a hairdresser......Her father owned a lot of boats and a lot of money. AND ......the first dance? not the bride and groom.....Bride and her father.......It being Cornwall and early hours of the morning the coach driver...who was also a surfer....eventually got us back to parents in laws house through country lanes........he did not bother with head lights etc because he did not wish to be seen......AND if I put up the photo it will then hack Lee off as well. so pox the ex.....I just wanted something to put in a frame!
Times were very different then. So......Here I am on this Monday morning in June contemplating a load of old photos waiting for the time to be not so early so I can wake up Lee and inform him what we are doing tomorrow on my day off.( not telling you. find out tomorrow you can)......

" A good place to end it" said Lee as I just read him this. " not a lot else you can say after that."
