Lee was up and smoking on the step by the door. " you back" he stated.
so we made tea and I watered the front garden. picked up and put right all the pots that blew over and sorted out some dolls that I have repaired for the upstairs display...... and so that is suddenly Friday morning again in June after the extreme wind. Friday is also the day I work up to 10pm tonight.
Well why did you not use your mobile phone to take pictures? well my Nokia I got for Christmas got accidentally into a skip along with garden waste and then got crushed......and the Leon LG we found.....this is the one I had before.....the one stuck together with cellotape.....well that was in my pocket just as it happens..I took another three pictures on this. It just looks like hell. Anyway it is still in my coat pocket and I can not be bothered to go get it.
Here we are Friday again. This week I achieved nothing at all. The time I have off work now was entirely wasted. Waiting for stuff to be finished/happen .
The wood store roof is still not finished so I can not plant up the garden in that area or have the new pond fountain set up properly. I bought that back in February mistakenly thinking it would be installed for summer.
Summer is here. The garden is not as I want and the pump is still in the box. Tuesday...it was all supposed to happen as it is my first day off each week. apparently nothing can happen whilst I am at work.
Tuesday I wanted to "go somewhere!" but we decided to stay local and take out the drone I bought for Christmas. THEN...the long suffering wood store roof was to be finished. None of this actually happened.
We took the drone to Kirkstall abbey. I took a bag of dolls to photograph. We eventually got the drone set up in the ca park. I was hoping that this would have all been done before this!! but no. If I am not home nothing happens at all. So by the time Lee had taken the drone to the field got it to fly for 3 seconds then landing it...stating that it was too windy for it I lost the will to live. So no photos.
Wednesday we went to Harrogate...I did go to Valley gardens and some junk shops.....and the wood store roof got strewed down as it was...because wind was forecast.
Thursday we had to wait for a phone call from Lee's hospital and then Father came up.
I did not even put a flip flopped toe out of the door. I just stayed in the house listening to the wind. So did Monza dog. Both of us have lost the will to live...This was brought on doubly by Father's visit. He makes me loose the will to live any way...but it had already gone. So by the time he phoned to say he was on the bus and Lee and I were to meet him at the supermarket I work at....it was total Hari Kari time.
So what have we learned this week?
Archos Drones are crap. I paid about £40.00 for it. That will be it's only outing me thinks. the difference between the cheap version and the performance I wanted with a more expensive one is massive. You don't get much for fourty quid these days. don't bother getting the Archos one either.
I have learned that I am thoroughly sick of Father and have got to dislike him a lot. I have tried. lord knows...I have tried. Phone calls, invites out....don't even go there. Lee has lived with him his whole life. I have done 11 years it is enough now. And please...no more left over crap wool. I have a huge ikea bag full.....over flowing in fact. What am I supposed to do with it all!!??
Wood store roof? don't even mention it to me. I am looking for someone to pay to finish the bloody thing.
What else have learned this week? Always put my camera battery on to charge when I come in.
So week wasted. Must do better next week. I am lucky....I very likely have another week.
It is looking good for another week at least..........
I am now sitting eating sandwiches and editing photos from today . A visit to Otley. This cheered us up alot.....the wood store roof is not yet finished...but I do have another 1950's Roddy doll and a 1950's book about the Queen's coronation.
