Going nowhere at the moment

We are going nowhere today. there are lots of plans afoot but the chances of getting home again are some what limited at the moment. The Fonz car is not good and sadly will not improve with treatment. So we stay with in walking (or bus) distance of the house. We need The Fonz car to keep going for the moment so it can be used as part exchange on a new wreck.

These are a few of the last photos of The Fonz that I will take. I think we have had our moneys worth from a 250.00 wrecked blown up car don't you? it was bought as emergency when Rusty van blew up so we will be moving along to another vehicle next week.
We have been out looking in car lots and have news of a Vauxhall zafira .......a "family car" a seven seater job....we have been shown how to fold all seats in the back away....Monza dog will be taking up the space of Five seats anyway......
The criteria, as I told the sales chap is....
1, the car goes.
2. Monza dog fits into it.....(at this the guy looked over to the parked Fonz at a safe distance and saw what I mean as Monza peeped out and then gave him a volley of barks as a warning not to come any closer...
3. the car can get up and down the Otley Chevin. This is about 21 degrees as an angle of going up very sharply. We need to be able to go up at speed and preferably not get over taken by push bikes. And yes! people do cycle up this. This year it is to be in the Tour De Yorkshire. The Tour De France went the wimpy way around Pool bank.....

The sales guy assured us that the car could do all three of these things. The only problem is....it is not in stock until "next week" and he would give us a call.....
The other car we saw over in Otley the other day is also lovely but it is way over the amount I want to pay. I have some money stashed but I want lots of other stuff too....spreading it a bit thin I am.

We went to the dealership by Apperley Bridge and the river was very "up" and back flo as well. so this is the photo.

So we are not going any where. We dare not. anyway...snow is forecast again.
