We are collecting this matress and it is going in the car I stated firmly. And so it did too. Lee drove the four miles home without incident and without being able to see anything behind us either.
It was around about now that we really really missed rusty the van. This would have been so easy! we could not see anything behind us in the van either, but then when you are in a big van it really does not matter. In a car I can assure you...it is entirely another matter. we had to bungy the boot of the car down....and there was no way anything could be seen until Lee lent out of the window..
we got home without any drama, and we stopped to shop......as well as the rain holding off long enough for me to clear enough junk for the mattress to go into the house ......
Just in the nick of time we arrived home as the courier arrived with the stair carpets for the loft conversion.
That was that part of the day done...so then I moved on to finishing off this raggy doll. The first for 2018
