Bit moody today is old Yorkshire. Humans and dogs are a bit miffed too. We all got a good sprinkling of the misty rain and wind pumped over us on the doggy walk. The rain was hammering first thing so we went supermarket first.
This left Monza moody in the car as we disapeared into the clouds and charity shops in Guiseley. It is heading for Christmas so everyone has the same idea. Full of crap now until new year
It will not stop me looking though!!
We did walk Monza dog eventually after an hour. The old grave yard was a hive of activity. Dog walkers....cars...visitors....gossiping groups of mourners...plane spotters
Oh yes it all went on today.
We ate lunch on the way leaving the chocolate eclairs on the dash. Lee told me not to leave my handbag in the car as it might get nicked
So the chocolate eclairs do not matter then? Re think of prioritys me thinks.
The plan was to go to knaresborough. It was decided that the world was far too moody today. There is no point in visiting Knaresborough if nothing can be seen and it is raining. Like it was on our last visit? Yep no point in that experience again. also wants to go Spofforth castle ruins on way back.
So we did dog walking and avoiding of the living in an old grave yard in the moody Yorkshire weather. And had our daily dose of chocolate eclairs.
Once home we opened up the front door to wait for the postman.....this day i hope for a new laptop charger after my existing one went puff and sparked sizzling into oblivion. Luckily it did not cause my soft toys and knitting to ignite. It would have been a huge pity if fire had ended it all just before i get my hands on the money breaking out of my pension stash. A very great travesty was avoided here.
I know i am being naughty spending the money.....though i can asure you it will be fun.
The postman after all....did not deliver through the open front door where he was all safe from monza taking the arse out of his shorts. He came around the back of the terrace.....opened the back door and flung in a parcel containing toy sqeeks from a craft shop on ebay. Monza was with in teeth sinking distance and i dropped my tea.
" hells teeth" said lee."that be a daft bugger"
So no laptop charger. No cheques. But i did get the toy sqeeks for monzas christmas toys.
So i busyed myself putting out christmas. I have so much stuff i just put out the lot.
What do we have? Disney hits wonderland meets Bratz wedding in winter wonderland.....i am just pondering how to find room for all my frozen dolls too.....
Colour changing light up tree i rescued on a clearnce job in a shop stockroom...
5am now the following morning.
After the non arrival of cheque i called up to find out why. The money is to be transfred today from the first part. The cheque for the rest will take 5 days......so Lee was up all night watching the bank account......
