The weather was coming down and the wind blows cold. Monza was not a happy wooly dog so we took him home to snooze on his rug by the radiator. In fact this was such a good idea we joined him.
This morning at 6.30 am I went out in my pyjamas huge hairy yeti white boots and a duvet coat. I took these photos. I can confirm the cold and damp. basically it was horrible and I did not enjoy it much crunching a long with numb fingers . So This is it. not doing it again until spring when all the flowers start to appear. going into hibernation.

 Looks good feels freezing.
looks romantic by moon light. poxy cold in reality.
went home and went back to drink a very lot of tea and go back to bed. Well you can't blame me really as the moon was still out.
The next thing to do with the day was defrost the car. the poor fonz was frozen solid and took and good half hour of scraping and heating to get to the point of being able to see through the wind screen.
we were used to rusty van. Rusty could go any where any time. he never failed us like that.....The fonz car is lovely but just straight dangerous with a little ice and now under the wheels. we opted for local at first and then ventured to Otley .
 Very beautiful.
very very cold with a low sun.
Once in Otley we discovered.......No snow. not one flake. but Christmas had arrived in the church and they were having a tree festival......
lots of trees and lots of donation boxes.
lots of people and lots of trees. all local regulars in that church.
 it looked so lovely.
Father Christmas was out and about buying his bargains in the Friday market....
I found a large Anna in really good condition and a new Bratz doll for 20p in the 20p shop.
I got a load of cross stitch Beatrix potter charts as well and lunch on the hoof as it was too cold to sit in the market square so off to the fonz car we went.....
